A little bit of history ……………………The first known show was held in 1867 on the village green until the Government of the day granted its present site in 1900.
Other than in the World War II years when the land was requisitioned by the Defence Department as a large camp area for New Zealand and American troops the Annual Show has been held there every year.  From 1954 to 1990 a two day show was held, since then an annual one day show has been held and now attracts between six and eight thousand people each year. And with your help we would like to make it more!
We would like to thank our many sponsors and supporters:
Mason Contractors (Warkworth), McEntee Hire, Ascension Winery Estate  National Bank Warkworth, New World Supermarket, P.G. Elley, Feast Catering, Nicholls Brown & Partners, Cadbury, Not Just Hats, Warkworth Vets, Wilson Hellaby, PGG Wrightson, The Saddle Centre,"The Stables" Restaurant", "The Bridgehouse" and Downer Construction plus the attached Chopping Section sponsors and .  Sound system sponsored by Halls of Warkworth
